Directed by Jay Roach, the film tells the story of women who have filed a sexual assault case against Roger Ailes, founder of Fox News. Roger Ailes, who had to leave Fox News after sexual harassment charges, eventually forced her to confront her crimes. The story will be screened with Bombshell, who will meet with moviegoers this year.
Bringing together three prominent names such as Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, the film tells the story of women who have had to fight not only against the Ailes but also against the seated crooked structure in Fox News to bring out the truth about Roger Ailes.
Bombshell is a 2019 American drama film directed by Jay Roach and written by Charles Randolph. The film stars Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, and is based upon the accounts of several women at Fox News who set out to expose CEO Roger Ailes for sexual harassment. Actors John Lithgow, Kate McKinnon, Connie Britton, Malcolm McDowell and Allison Janney appear in supporting roles.
The project was first announced in May 2017 following Ailes’ death, with Roach confirmed as director the following year. Much of the cast joined that summer and filming began in October 2018 in Los Angeles. Bombshell entered into a limited release in the United States on December 13, 2019, before a wide release on December 20, by Lionsgate.
The film received generally positive reviews, with critics mainly praising the performances of the three leads but criticising the inaccuracies and screenplay. For their performances, Theron and Robbie were nominated for Best Actress – Drama and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, at the 77th Golden Globe Awards.
Film Review for Bombshell
In the media sector, where I worked for many years, and I worked as a senior executive on television, thank goodness I never had any sexual harassment, mobbing or even an uncomfortable intimacy. Thank god. But I don’t know if we’ve heard or gossip or it’s real. In the business world it has benefited from its superior subordinate to provide various advantages such as promotion or raise. Not only in the media industry, but everywhere.
Bombshell describes the sexual harassment happening in the television world, especially in the US Fox channel. Maybe you know, maybe you’ll be amazed, Fox in the US is not a dissident, unlike ours, but a channel that is followed by a conservative, conservative US voter you know. The year before the election, Trump‘s election campaign, the period.
The most intense event of election campaigns in the USA is the live talkshows accompanied by large audiences. Here, the TV presenter squeezes the candidates as far as possible and in a country consisting of a huge continent, the voter sees and decides to whom to vote in the best way, otherwise it is not the job with live rallies. The owners of FOX News are Murdoch and his two sons, but they leave the management to Roger Ailes as CEO. He could not even stand, walking with a walker, but only behind the door opened by the secretary in the hands of the entire team and monitors the screens, from time to time to call the beautiful women, “television is a visual channel,” first opened his legs and then harassed an “asshole”!
Is it a coincidence that all these women are blond and beautiful? No, not the screen, blonde, lively, beautiful woman likes. Like our Indian, long eyebrows hanging over his shoulders, black eyebrow black eye girls, a little Middle Eastern work, even Indian work, I’m sorry. Here are three women: the first rebellious and scandalous television commentator Gretchen Carlson, who plays a very ugly Nicole Kidman; Charlize Theron, news host Megyn Kelly from Fox to NBC; The film, played by Margot Robbie, fictional fictional Fox News producer Kayla Pospisi, is not a success in terms of cinematographic expression, although it is anticipated with great excitement and raises a very important issue.
With its fast-paced tempo, complex story and fiction, and its intermingled scenes, it can’t even get past the American movies we’ve seen before and tell about the media events! In fact, I think that despite the many nominations, even in acting, there is not much work, I think the most successful female employees for many years and forced to keep quiet even though everyone knows that sexual harassment, such as the explosion of sewage exploded as a result of the emergence of the Fox News CEO Roger Ailes’ John Lithgow!
You can really hate one person during the film, and others remain neutral because they can’t give you emotion! Yes, the media is a visual medium, yes, the women who appear on the screen should also appeal to the eye, but doesn’t the real big discrimination start here? Men on the screen are not at all as handsome as men who advertise toothpaste? There are also old ones, bald ones, fat ones, ugly ones! Women must be necessarily beautiful, not necessarily big eyes when it is necessary to look at the teeth, such as horse, age, leg, too! And when those women come out to enjoy themselves somehow, do they sometimes have to submit to the offer of rapprochement in this terrible market? And he’s been dragging you in for years? Until when? One day, he puts one on someone’s life and speaks on social media, and then a movement like “Me da“ Me too!
We had a recent scandal came to mind. Someone was fired, even his room was evacuated, and then he came back waving. It’s like a movie, what do I know? I surmise all my colleagues, if the women were less geared and they would never leave their shoes, they could take their bags and the men would know their limits, anyway. Of course, the interesting part of the film is that Twitter now emphasizes its role in our lives. Trump at first, then everyone uses twitter as an attack and weapon, and whoever is more strategic wins. The parties are fighting each other through constant messages.
It was also very interesting to watch this, and in our twitter, the tool of punishing opponents of the power. Every tweet you use is used as evidence against you! It happened to me a lot, my reason for layoffs without compensation would not rt two tweets. Another tweetimden because of more than a year I was sentenced! Since this is a very free country, I took a break from twitter. Now I share cat dog in instagram!!!
