Supernova Movie Storyline. Sam and Tusker, partners for 20 years, travel across England to the Lake District, reuniting with friends and family. As Tusker is diagnosed with early onset dementia, the pair are heading towards the end of their relationship.

The pair pull over at a supermarket, where Sam purchases some food, and when he returns, Tusker has vanished. Sam drives around the roads nearby and finds him. Tusker is in the middle of writing a book, and declines Sam’s request to read it. Sam is preparing for his final piano concert.

The pair travel to Sam’s sister Lily’s house, where the rest of their family and friends meet them for a dinner. Upon talking to his friend Tim, Sam discovers that Tusker has been unable to write anything. Sam heads into the camper van to see what he has written, and sees his writing decline over time. He also discovers one of his tapes and listens to it.
