Principal photography on the film began on February 22, 2016 in New York City, where the filming also took place in Queens. Actors were also spotted filming in Manhattan. On March 10, 2016, filming took place at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Collateral Beauty will be released by Warner Bros. on December 16, 2016 alongside Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
