Death Wish is an upcoming American vigilante action film directed by Eli Roth, a remake of the 1974 film of the same name which starred Charles Bronson in the lead, based on the 1972 novel written by Brian Garfield. The film stars Bruce Willis as Paul Kersey, and is scheduled to be released in the United States by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Annapurna Pictures on March 2, 2018. Principal photography on the film began in late-September 2016 in Chicago, Illinois. Later in October 2016, it began filming in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
