Motherless Brooklyn, where we went to New York in the 1950s, focuses on a detective named Lionel Essrog. Essrog suffers from a condition called Tourette’s Syndrome. On the one hand he struggles with the sudden tics of the syndrome and on the other hand he has to investigate the death of his friend Frank Minna. He only has a few tips and his mind running like an hour. Lionel will endeavor to solve the secrets that keep the whole city in balance.

The film had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival on August 30, 2019, and is scheduled to be released in North America on November 1, 2019, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
