My Spy: The Eternal City movie storyline. The first “My Spy” movie, released in 2020, was about CIA agent JJ ​​(Dave Bautista), who was sent to spy on a family as part of a secret mission, but found his fate in the hands of the family’s intelligent nine-year-old daughter, Sophie (Chloe Coleman).

In the new film, Sophie, now a teenager, convinces JJ to accompany her on a school choir trip to Italy. On this trip, the duo unwittingly become pawns in an international terrorist plot targeting CIA Chief David Kim (Ken Jeong) and the chief’s son, Sophie’s best friend, Collin (Taeho K).

My Spy: The Eternal City is an American spy comedy film directed by Pete Segal. It is the sequel to the 2020 film My Spy with Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, Kristen Schaal and Ken Jeong reprising their roles from the previous film. My Spy: The Eternal City was released in the United States via streaming on Prime Video by Amazon MGM Studios on July 18, 2024.
