Shithouse Movie Storyline. Among thousands of kids trying their best to make college work, Alex feels alone and depressed. Home is 1500 miles away and he’s struggling to find a reason not to go back. Maggie, Alex’s sophomore RA, has been crushing college since day one. Today though, Maggie is dealt an unexpected loss. After a party at Shithouse, Maggie wants some company and finds it in Alex. Two young people raised in very different households, Alex and Maggie challenge each other and grow up together.
Shithouse is an upcoming American drama film, written, directed, and produced by Cooper Raiff, in his directorial debut. It stars Raiff, Dylan Gelula, Amy Landecker and Logan Miller. The film was set to have its world premiere at South by Southwest in March 2020, but the festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The South by Southwest film competition nevertheless went ahead, and Shithouse won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature. It is scheduled to be released on October 16, 2020, by IFC Films.
