The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare movie storyline. In 1939, the British army is defeated by the German army. In this situation, Winston Churchill wants to make a counter move by putting aside the rules of gentlemanly war. Its purpose is to secretly infiltrate a group of soldiers behind enemy lines. The soldiers accept this life-threatening plan, knowing the possibility of being killed. By establishing a solid union, important victories were achieved against the Nazis.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is an upcoming spy action comedy film directed and co-written by Guy Ritchie, based on the 2014 book Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII by Damien Lewis. The film portrays a heavily fictionalized version of Operation Postmaster.

Filming began on February 13, 2023, in Antalya, Turkey. It wrapped up in April 2023. The day filming began, it was announced Lionsgate had acquired U.S. distribution rights to the film, planning to give it a wide release in 2024, and that select international distribution rights had been sold to Amazon Prime Video. The film was released in the United States on April 19, 2024.
