Deepwater Horizon tells of Deepwater Horizon, the infamous British Petroleum oil rig that caught fire and exploded on April 20, 2010, while drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, killing 11 crewmembers and resulting in the largest offshore oil spill in United States history. Mark Wahlberg is starring as an electrician on the rig. John Malkovich plays a stubborn BP representative who underestimates the danger of the work being done.
