Fantasy Island Movie Storyline. The Enigmatic Mr. Roarke (played by Michael Peña) makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.
Fantasy Island is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by Jeff Wadlow and written by Jillian Jacobs, Chris Roach and Wadlow. It is based on the television series of the same name and stars Michael Peña, Lucy Hale, Maggie Q, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen and Michael Rooker. Jason Blum is serving as a producer through his Blumhouse Productions banner. It is scheduled to be released in the United States by Sony Pictures on February 14, 2020.
