Fever Dream Movie Storyline. Amanda (María Valverde) is a woman on the verge of death who is dying in a hospital far from her home. In this place is David, a young boy who crosses her path by chance. From the moment they met, their lives became intertwined and they will begin to take a new course. David will reflect with Amanda on how she ended up in the hospital and her personal and vital traumas that have accompanied her throughout her life.
Rescue Distance (Fever Dream) is a Chilean and Spanish American-produced drama thriller film directed by Peruvian Claudia Llosa from a script she co-wrote with Samanta Schweblin based on her novel of the same name. The film stars María Valverde, Dolores Fonzi, German Palacios, Guillermo Pfening and Emilio Vodanovich.
In December 2018, Netflix announced that it would produce a film version of the novel Fever Dream by Samanta Schweblin and directed by Peruvian director Claudia Llosa.1 Filming, for the production companies Gran Via Productions and Fábula, began in Chile at the beginning of 2019. 2 3 The premiere on Netflix will be in October 2021, but in September of the same year it will be presented at the San Sebastián Film Festival
