SamSam is very happy to host Daisy, his penfriend. But then the Gloomies, bugs who spread sadness all around them, start invading SamPlanet. SamSam and his friends first make them laugh to turn them into Grinnies. In order to get rid of them completely, SamSam will have to fight against the Piratrociouses, and understand Daisy’s true story.
SamSam is a 2019 French-Belgian 3D computer-animated superhero film directed by Tanguy de Kermel based on the children’s television program of the same name created by Serge Bloch. Produced by Folivari, the film premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on December 7, 2019, and was released theatrically in France on February 5, 2020 by StudioCanal.
