Spider-Man: Far From Home Movie Storyline. Some time after Thanos was defeated and Tony Stark’s sacrifice, Peter Parker returns to high school. Now, Peter is out to see the world with his classmates and is wanting to take a break from being Spider-Man. But his fun filled trip is suddenly sabotaged when a string of mysterious attacks by creatures called Elementals start wreaking havoc all over the world. Spider-Man: Far From Home is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is intended to be the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and the twenty-third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The film is directed by Jon Watts, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, J. B. Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Martin Starr, Marisa Tomei, and Jake Gyllenhaal. In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Parker and his friends go on a school trip to Europe only to face new threats from another dimension forcing Peter to team up with Nick Fury and Mysterio to stop them.
Spider-Man: Homecoming composer Michael Giacchino was confirmed to return to score Far From Home in October 2018. Similar to the first film, the score will include an instrumental version of the theme from the 1960s animated series specifically for the Marvel Studios opening logo at the start of the film.
