The Gentlemen Movie Storyline. In the film, Matthew McConaughey gives life to a businessman who founded an herb empire but now wants to retire. Other characters in the story are either intruding or helping McConaughey’s order. Michelle Dockery plays McConaughey’s wife, Henry Golding, a Vietnamese gangster, a photographer who secretly takes photos of Hugh Grant McConaughey and tries to blackmail him, and Colin Farrell plays Coach, a man who teaches mixed martial arts fighters.
The Gentlemen (formerly known as Toff Guys and Bush) is a British-American action thriller film directed by Guy Ritchie, who also wrote the screenplay, from a story by Ivan Atkinson, Marn Davies, and Ritchie. The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant. The Gentlemen is scheduled to be released on January 24, 2020, by STX Entertainment.
