The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2 Movie Storyline. From Beverly Hills to the Chicago ‘burbs, mayhem and hilarity seem to follow The Blacks wherever they go. After surviving a night of terror on the West Coast, (not-so) best-selling author Carl Black (Mike Epps) moves his family back to his childhood home in the Windy City where he hopes to find the peace and quiet he needs to write his new book. But when an eccentric neighbor (Katt Williams) moves in next door, Carl becomes convinced that the man is a vampire trying to take his family, and must team up with his oddball neighbors to save his career and their lives.

The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2 (credited onscreen simply as The House Next Door) is a 2021 American comedy horror film directed by Deon Taylor, and written by Taylor and Corey Harrell. A sequel to the 2016 film Meet the Blacks, it stars Mike Epps and Katt Williams, with Bresha Webb, Lil Duval, Zulay Henao, Tyrin Turner, Michael Blackson, Andrew Bachelor, Gary Owen and Danny Trejo in supporting roles. In the film, Carl Black (Epps) moves his family back to his childhood home, encountering a mysterious new neighbor (Williams), a pimp who may be a vampire.

The House Next Door was produced by Taylor’s Hidden Empire Film Group and Epps’ Naptown Productions, and filmed in Atlanta from October to November 2017. Delayed from original October 2019 release, it was released in theaters in the United States by Hidden Empire on June 11, 2021.
