Director Demián Rugna says: “The inspiration for this movie was ‘The Road’ and ‘Evil Dead’ movies. This feeling that you don’t know where, and how, evil is going to attack. I also [wanted to show] the tragedy of a father, trying his best to save his family. We play with the concepts of paranoia and local beliefs, as well as the death of faith.”
