Locked-in Society movie storyline. On a Friday afternoon there was a knock on the door of the staff room at the Rudi Dutschke High School. Six teachers are still present: the popular sports teacher Peter Mertens, the hated music teacher Heidi Lohmann, the tutor Holger Arndt, the chemistry teacher Bernd Vogel, the conservative Latin teacher Klaus Engelhardt and the young trainee Sarah Schuster.
In front of the door is an ambitious father who wants at all costs to ensure that his son gets the chance to be admitted to high school. The decisive factor here is a missing point, which Klaus Engelhardt definitely doesn’t want to award. Desperate, the father pulls out a gun and locks the staff room. The teachers should now discuss the allocation of this one point in the next lesson. However, the following conversations are less about the students and more about the personal abysses of the individual teachers.
Locked-in Society is a German comedy film directed by Michele Civetta and starring Shea Whigham, Olivia Munn, Zach Avery, Bruce Dern, Frank Grillo, Keith David, Taryn Manning, Mark Boone Junior, Jessica Medina, Taegen Burns, Jay Hieron and Alexander Wraith. The screenplay, written by Alexander Felix and originally titled Where Angels Die, was included in the 2013 Black List.
